Well maybe it is a good thing that I’m heading home soon—I’m starting to run out of things to write about. Today I did more turnover with my relief and I had to turn in some more gear that I won’t be needing. I also found out that I’ll be leaving Kuwait sooner, rather than later which means the counter on the blog is right after all. I am so looking forward to coming home. Now that the end is in sight, I miss Braye and the girls more than ever.

As a Naval EWODAD who's son served in Iraq, I want to thank you for your service and for your daily posts.
My son has been home for 90 days but while he was there I leaned heavily on the posts to get a sense of what was happening on a day-to-day basis first from the Desert Periscope and then you and the blogs you have listed. It was a big help since these IA positions were new and no one knew what to expect when they got there.
Thanks to you and the others from a parent who felt a little less anxious "knowing" the daily routine.
Thanks again and I wish you the very best in thr rest of your life and in your career.
Safe trip home.
